2019 Voter Engagement Training

Afghan youth in Ontario are invited to this fun and interactive training workshop where you will learn about:

– The upcoming federal elections where Canada will vote for Prime Minister

– Canada’s voting system

– How to make an informed vote

– Each political party’s positions on issues relevant to Afghans

– How to talk to people about voting

– How to get involved with a political party

– Receive resources and materials in English & Dari

The topics will be taught in a simple and easy-to-understand manner!

This event will also feature a Vote PopUp simulated voting station, where people who are unfamiliar with or have never voted before can get the real experience of how voting will work on election day.

Pizza, refreshments, and TTC tokens will be provided.

Registration is only $5 which will be refunded at the end of the workshop. Yes, you read that right!

Dress code: casual
